its a recorded message telling me to call this number or be proceuted its in american accent and displays call coming from Canberra ACT

Got 3-4 voicemail's today from a private number claiming to be the ATO pursing tax fraud and threatening action. Then I got a call from (02) 6100 8103 claiming to be the Australian Tax Office. The guy quite obviously sounded like he was at a dodgy Indian call center, could barely speak a full sentence of English and knew nothing about the ATO when I quizzed him on their main phone number and head office address(where he was calling from apparently). Sadly he did have my full name and phone number. He immediately hung up when confronted about being a scam.
