Recorded message supposed to be from tax office saying I owed them money & now I had an arrest warrant out for me. Then they hung up.

Caller: ATO Scam

Automated voice saying ‘this is the ATO and my account has been flagged as alien as documents sent are unsigned’
And that an arrest warrant has been issued for my arrest’
‘For more info press 1’

Clearly a scam...

SMS Message stating "an alien transaction has occurred on your account to prevent tax avoidance action" etc. etc.
Obviously a scammer and possibly using words that would be more appropriate to US Tax payers.
Interesting use of a Canberra land line to send SMS messages.
