States I entered a competition of some kind, which I didn’t I advised I did not and I was on the NO CALL list and that I would be forwarding there information to the police if they continued to harass me.

"Brands of Choice" they said when I asked who was calling...large call centre as a lot of background calls going on.
Unlikely they are physically in Canberra..makes no sense ..more likely routed from Asia judging on the accent.
Telecoms should not allow that to happen..for no reason other than to deceive.
Politely exited and hung up.

Received a call from (02) 6100 5369. It was silent on the other end. I hang up and came onto this site and found out it was a spam. Blocked the number straight away.

Clearly a scam.. The old " you've won our competition " ploy.. I haven't entered any competitions, or had a car accident or have an issue with my computer.. Crikey, you have to be on your toes all the time these days.. These bastards would steal their own grandmothers gold teeth given half a chance.. Scumbags..!!

I kept getting these calls and was blocking them, then I got more. A friend told me that when you block a number they know you are a person with a live number. My friend said if I stopped blocking the calls I would get less and they would eventually stop. Simply amazing but after a few weeks all I was getting were the calls from overseas and for the last 10 days absolutely nothing until this annoying idiot called. If its a number I don't know I don't pick up. If they don't leave a message it obviously was a scammer. If they ring, ignore it people.

Caller was Brands of Choice or something like that.

They claim you have entered a competition, and I definitely have not. I blocked the number.

I am so sick of these people calling me! They call at least 3 - 4 times a day! Block one number another calls block that number and what do you know another calls!

These guys phoned and upon answering remained in silence until I hung up.
I called the number back to find out that it was Brands of Choice, saying I had entered an online competition. I had not entered any competitions.

It is about time that the government did something about this stupid calls. What is the point of being on a do not call list if they can get around it. Have blocked each one as they ring and they still use a different number each time. So sick of this crap!
