Received an automated voice recording informing me that there is an imminent lawsuit against me. Hung up without finishing the message.

If it's that serious, doubt they will leave me an automated voice message when I pick up the phone.

Receive the automated voice message saying unless calling back I will be arrested (?) while the number was shown as calling from Canberra.

Got this call today. Poor text-to-speech message. Yeah sure. Sounds totally legit.

As per other message. Claimed to be ATO, lawsuit against me. I delighted in ringing back but they did not like the reverse scam. Begged them to help me. They kept hanging up. LOL.

Asked me to call back as soon as I get the automated message, or else there will be a lawsuit filed against my name.

same here. i listened a bit longer and it said there would be an arrest warrant issued too.

Caller: Automated dialling service claiming to be related with the ATO and department

Demanded I phone them back else they will issue an arrest warrant.
Appears to be an attempt to defraud phone users by pretending to be Australian Tax Office debt collectors.

Caller: it's a scam claiming to be from the Australian Taxation Office and there's a lawsuit blah blah blah

Scam so deleted the voice mail. The ATO wouldn't leave a voicemail, they send official paperwork out so deleted voicemail and return to living life......next !

15/11/18 at 3.40pm - I received an automated voice recording on my mobile, in an American type computer based accent informing me that there is an imminent lawsuit against me, and an arrest warrant will be placed if the call is not returned. The voice message repeated to "get back to me" and repeated the number. It showed as coming from Canberra ACT. Please!!!! This number is now blocked.

They left a VM that was automated saying if I don’t call back an arrest warrant will be issued. SCAM
