The number shows up as overseas. The caller told me his name is Ricky Martin and he works for the Australian Technical Office in Canberra. He was very hard to understand but I think he said he wanted me to ring that number to claim a $7000 grant from the Tax office. He usually hangs up on my answering machine. A couple of months ago he hung up on me rather than give his number. I suspect he works for Telstra too

Just recieved same women from overseas advising I had won a Federal grant of $7,500.00. Ring this number and give my ID No to collect money.

Same thing happened to us.

I also received this call and phone number. Called (02) 6100 4045 and they hung up on me as soon as I mentioned the grant. This is a scam as I then called ATO on their 1800 number and they checked my details. Said no-one from the tax office had called me. Please report to the official ATO if you also get this phone call.

Just got the same story with a number and confirmation number to ring . Voice was heavily tainted with non aussie accent.Very sus.

I just received a call stating I had won a $7000 Tax Grant for having no criminal history. I was told to call (02) 6100 4045 and give them my name and a Reference number.
I don't have caller ID, so I'm not sure of the number they called me from.
