fake tax office caller, with atomated call message

About tax evasion and a warrant for my arrest is on its way. It was a recorded message.

Bogus Automated voice message claiming to be from tax office. The message sounds like it has been produced by the text to speech option on an iPhone. It is a nuisance message.

Prerecorded message claiming to be from the taxation department . A warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion.

Recorded message about tax avoidance and warrant for arrest. My taxation consultant told me it is a scam and to ignore. This could be very upsetting for the older person to receive. Idiots who ever they are.

Glad I checked this site. I just had the same call about 5 minutes ago. Recorded message saying tax office has tried to contact me & I haven't responded so there's a warrant for my arrest. Do these people not have anything better to do?????

Got this call this morning at 10.15am with a recorded message supposedly from the Australian Taxation Office claiming that I was in serious trouble and at risk of going to jail if I didn't do as this message instructed. Another number to block and ignore.

If this is correct and I owe money, why did I get a refund last financial year?? These scumbags need to get a life and stop worrying the elderly and/or vulnerable

I to have a warrant for my arrest for Tax Evasion, I tried to call the number back and it says the number is "Not in Service at the moment, try back again latter" and they have a warrant for my arrest, should be their arrest.

Hi Mel, What do you think is in it for them is the question that interests me. I called the number as well & it is either busy signal or just hangs up if it rings thorugh & all the text said in the message I was sent was "You missed a call from (02) 6064 2076 who said " Even if your number is on state or national do not call list. "This message is to notify that per our recent audit. We have identified and (?) correct (?) or no tax. "This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you. Gee thanks Telstra. What the hell is that all about do you think? Have you ever received any more annoying calls from this number? I think I'm going to report it as I know its fraudulent. Hope they haven't bothered you any further Mel. All the best.
