same thing I didn't answer the call as I was busy, but got a text message saying " "We "received a legal complaint under my name and the complaint is for tax avoidance and tax fraud "This message was provided by Telstra a t no charge to me . interesting eh using the Telstra messaging to send the text. I ignored it I know its a scam Id really like to catch them though

I received a message from this number, the caller warning me not to ignore the message as I would be charged for fraud if I did not respond. Thankfully I was able to look the number up on here and see that I'm not going to jail :)

Same as the rest. Got a vm trying to scare me about tax fraud. Not very convincing.

They just using a totally the same script! Not even changed a word..please let your families/friends/colleagues know about it.

Just received a call from this number but let it go to voicemail as already looked suspicious...voice mail said "a warrant has been issued. do not disregard this mssg. To call this number back". I deleted the mssg straight away! If it was a warrant, it is the duty of the Police to issue that, not some scam company! Disregard and dont even try calling them back - a waste of your time if you did!

Appears to be a Scam call from ATO: saying that this call is just to inform you that you have received a legal complaint under your name for tax avoidance and tax fraud issue" and you have to return the call on (02) 6064 2052.

Left'm.me a message saying not to ignore the message and to call them asvthey were going to file with the local district court for tax evasion and tax fraud he had a strong indian accent, my hubby called the number and got an american woman message bank.

recorded message from ATO left on mobile saying my name has come up on their fraud list. What a crock of SH** I've never had a debt nor done anything fruadulent - fools.
People be aware that this is a Scam. Sue (Sept 20, 2016) gives sound advice re the MyGov website, and the ATO and ScamWatch also list this message as a Scam.

Yes same thing. Just got a call to say that our company is avoiding tax payments and contact immediately. When I rang he answers as Australian Tax Office and then hung up after listening to me.

They called my mobile yesterday while I was at work. I didn't know at the time, but when I had lunch I noticed that I had a voice mail. So I had a listen. Apparently they received a complaint to do with tax avoidance/fraud. Total scam.

Called today Claims to be from ATO and that your company has been identified for tax avoidance. Provides another number to call. I hung up
