This message was about tax evasion threatining a policeman will call around with a warrant for my arrest. It was a voice yet again of asian persuasion or at least sounded like it. I did not call back

Tax fraud prosecution hoax call received 28/6/2016 - they claimed to be from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). They left a voice message on my answering machine; I have reported the matter immediately to Scamwatch https://www.scamwatch.gov.au
I did not call back!

Some one rang from this number pretending to be from the ATO & left a message on the answering machine saying that I had evaded tax and a warrant was being issued for my arrest and I was to ring them back. Seems like a scam to me.

got the voice messages from this number and saying a criminal case is against my name and asked me to call back, otherwise the government has risen this to court and there will be 'legal consequences', still havent called back, waiting for the court order. ;)

Had the fake ATO call yesterday. Why are these obvious fraudsters still operating after all these months?

2nd time from this tax fraud number.

So this number called me today - I was busy so it went to voice mail at home. Same as above - warning me about a criminal case being bought to us for tax evasion/fraud - we lodge our tax every year so knew it was dodgy. Didn't call back just deleted the message and did a search for the number and found this site. Will report it to the authorities now too.

Fake ATO call center. Scam !!!

This is a scam. Do not reply to this call center number.It is Not the Australian Tax Office. It is a clever Con to scare you into handing over thousands of dollars. T&ey will direct you to buy itune cards and provide them with the numbers as payment. Contact Police and do not respond to this number.

Got a message from these people saying they were from ATO in regards to tax evasion and i was under investigation and if i did not call back the police will attend my residence. Im sure its a scam

How to report this number. Said ATO and ask my personal information. I am not give and said police will come. Very unprofessional. I think they are the people from ATO. Like some cheating call center.
