SCAM. Automated voice claiming to be from the ATO - Do not call this number back.

I received a call from these scammers from this number (02) 6169 1034 this morning!

Had an call from this and asked to call back. Was told I had money owing to ATO and asked if I accept the debt. Also, if I dont agree cops would come to arrest me in 45 minutes. I called 000 and was advised it's a scam.

Got a digital voice saying call them back & that I am a suspect...

Answered a call from this number and it said "This is the Australian Tax Office. You have had an affidavit signed against your name and your house is under surveillance. Call 4243 7530 as soon as possible"

Yep... the called. I gave my name unfortunately, then the line cut off... and thereafter they block you. I called back twice on different numbers ad hassled them

Just received all call from them too. It was an automated message saying I must call them immediately or legally I am be prosecuted. What losers.

digital voice warning me that a lawsuit has been filed against me and my home is under surveillance. called back (was curious what the idiots were up to)..... hear a busy indian sounding call centre in the background, and hung up ! Hahahah.

Answered phone to message machine saying I was being subpeonaed and was under prosecution by the ATO. Told me to return the call immediately. This is a scam. If you get the same call do not ring back and do not give them any of your details.

OMG - another ATO scam!! I can assure you no affidavit has been issued against you and they definitely do not have your house under surveillance.
I did get a good laugh out of this one - getting pretty inventive with their messages.

Received voicemail that I have an affidavit against me, my house is under surveillance and I must call them back!
I think not....
