Recorded message left in a female pseudo American accent telling me some sort of legal action had been filed against me requiring me to call back. Probably to organise me paying an immediate fine to avoid the action continuing. Heard of this scam but it's a first for me.

I got this scam call too. Its notionally tax office related but its definitely not. But who is it with a real Oz number. I reported this to Scamwatch.

Voice recording Saying they where Constable Smith from your local police station and to call (02) 4203 2421 urgently or face legal action. From looking online on similar sites like this one its an ATO scam also that is not the number to my local police station.

Received a call from this number, female voice this time, something to do with legal action being filed against me. There will be consequences if I don't call back.

Similar to Garry. Female pseudo American accent telling me to call this number and wishing me good luck. Pops up every now and then. SCAM!!!!!!

Recorded message saying a lawsuit had been filed against me and to ring back immediately well I think it's a scam so I ignored it

Scam - a female voice recording, American accent, claiming to be from the Australian Tax Office, ATO, and to call this number back immediately or there will be serious consequences, such as you will be arrested immediately.
It is a scam.
The ATO will never make such threats or ask you to pay money in order for you to receive monies.

missed a call and received a message from this number telling me "there is a serious lawsuit against my name. The issue at hand is very time sensitive the very second you receive this message:

scam pretending to be suing me and that I have to pay $2000 now or Ill go to prison

Feel this is a scam. Hope nobody rings them back...

Message left answering machine saying serious legal action been filed. Called number back guy answered very rude and denied leaving any message. Had these calls before and had no action taken against me. obviously a scam, very annoying.

This was an automated message telling me that unless I rang the number back there "could be serious legal consequences"

Phone scam with recorded message about legal action to be taken against you for unpaid taxes.

Received a message from this caller saying I have a serious lawsuit against me and I needed to return the call ASAP or I'll suffer serious consequences. At the end they wished me good luck.

I particularly like that fact that they wish you 'good luck' in dealing with this time critical and pressing matter.

A hard-to-understand American female voice told my answering machine that I have to call this number back ASAP "or face the consequences". This threat was repeated, and it hung up wishing me good luck.
