These people claim to be from IBM and that you have an account with them. They are pushy and rude. This is a scam, beware and do not give your details!

Caller: Microsoft I asked my IT support person to verify the email I received from this and it was genuine. I have had a video call with the representative from Microsoft and received genuine help. I did think it was Spam when I first received the call. We have Microsoft licensed subscriptions which these calls initiate from low usage or service review.

Caller: Nathan from IBM Wants to speak to someone in our company, says they have sent them an email (which is bogus), they keep ringing. When you call 40444573, it's a recorded message asking you to key in the extension of the person you are calling. This is not IBM.

Caller: Microsoft Our reception got a call from a nervous person names "Sham" claiming to be from Microsoft and wanting to speak to the IT manager. This is a scam because: a) Microsoft do not cold call or even directly speak to customers, they use their resellers and avoid talking to customers (unless they have an existing relationship) b) We do not have an IT manager c) All our IT is outsourced and not our responsibility any way Don't give them names, and don't give them email addresses. They asked to be called back on (02) 4044 4573

I get about three calls a day from this number. I've blocked it any way but it's still super annoying.
