Caller: ATO Scammer

Automated message from a person claiming to being from the ATO audit department saying I would be arrested if I don't return their call

They call me. but i wasn't prepared to take the call as it looks fishy.

Check ATO website ato.gov.au for information this is a well known scam. They may even have a scam caller contact you saying they are your tax agent.

DON’T FALL for this people and tell your friends and family. The ATO will never contact you like this or threaten to ‘call law enforcement’ and will neve NEVER have you pay with iTunes or Bitcoin or other weird random payment methods.

Just received the same call-has been happening for the past 2 weeks previously numbers were interstate.

They claim to be the ATO and state that there's a warrant out.
