Nadia just called me from this number stating she was calling from Tamar Valley Resort with an exceptional deal (which I get weekly newsletter and have stayed before).
2 night stay on weekend or 3 nights on weekdays for $279.00 for two people for the whole stay and includes breakfast. The catch: we must pay $79.00 deposit today with credit card for this amazing deal. So I called Tamar Valley Resort spoke to Judy and she said it was Sunseekers and it is legit. We receive a voucher and then can use it whenever until June 2016. Dodgy that they didn't mention they were Sunseekers calling on behalf of the resort though.

Yes Jennifer, I had the same experience with them. The woman I spoke to on the phone yesterday (Catherine) accused me of swearing at her and talking over her. I basically told her that I didnt believe their server was down for 12 weeks, their company was a scam and their customer service was bullsh*t. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she said she the only person I could speak to.
This company is Dodgy AS, and I'll be making a complaint to the ACCC regarding their business practices.

Sick of Sunseeker Holidays calling me too. I opted out two years ago but they still ring - each time I tell them to take me off their register but they still continue to call. No matter how many times I tell them to go away or threaten taking the matter further, they persist. They have lost me as a customer forever, and I do my best to warn other friends about them. For what it is worth, they are a legit organisation but you DO NOT save much when booking any holidays through them. Having to pay a free up front (so called deposit) and a yearly membership and then paying a so called discount rate virtually is a scam especially when you add even just the rate and deposit together. In fact EVERY single voucher I have received has not been anywhere as good as a deal through contacting the holiday centre myself or going on one of many cheap deals online sites. Yes they are legitimate but no they are not worth your time or money.

I went for a job interview in Melbourne today with them, I had reservations about telesales and still do, but I got myself out of it by saying I wasn't confident. I prefer to work for a company that treats its staff professionally and reading this I don't think they do.

I cannot express how on point and justified this 'review' is. I too worked for Sunseeker Holidays, and I cannot believe that within such a short period of time, I found myself spiraling into depression due to how I was (mis)treated by the manager in Brisbane, Michael. You're threatened with being fired DAILY and are put under the microscope and shamed in front of all the other workers if you aren't achieving the sales goals. It is dehumanising, demoralising and disgusting the way that people are treated there. If you are a jobseeker, STAY AWAY. PLEASE. If you are being harassed by Sunseeker, dob them in. Question them on where they got your contact details from (usually List Bank or a previous hotel/resort you've been a guest at before) and then make a complaint to that hotel/resort directly for giving them your details. They are crooks. They rip people off. They harass people. They need to be shut down.

I bought the holiday voucher package for $90. Didn't receive the vouchers and when rang Sunseekers was told that the server was down. I also sent them a letter saying that I wanted a refund but haven't heard anything back. They are rip off artists don't go near them.

I have bought plenty of vouchers from Sunseeker and never had issues. I started back over 10 years ago when our family lived in Qld and went to heaps of places and found the deals really cheap. Every company has its bashers and haters and good and bad employees but ive only had 1 pushy person who wasn't nice. over 10 years I think that's a great thing! some of the older ladies are amazing and know the areas really well and helped us as we have 4 kids and a family of 6 isn't easy to buy for. Don't get to judgemental people, think before you jump up and down, there is worse things happening in the world

This is a scam. Signed up for the vouchers. They have limited hotels that these can be used at - even though I was told they can be used at hundreds of places. When you login and try to book you are transferred to Expedia. Why did I pay $140 to use Expedia. The cruise link doesn't work - nothing on it. When I have tried the booking number it says unattended. Never answers morning or night. Have emailed requesting a refund but no response. Nothing the sales person told me about this package was true.

I am in the same position now! Their websites are completely out of action now and I can't even find a valid email address to send my complaint in writing too. No vouchers mailed out, logins etc given no good if no working website. Will also be asking for a full refund.

Signed up for a package in October and was promised 'the world' e.g. replace all the vouchers I did not use from a previous package; $100 voucher for ocean cruise; extra package to give to a friend; the four deposit vouchers and maybe some others.
After waiting for login details I was told that the 'server' was down and could not login. Turns out the server has been down since at least August 2017.
Beats me how a business can sign up new accounts when they cannot be properly managed.
Anyway after 4 months complaining I eventually received a refund of the amount paid for the package.
Would never have anything to do with Sunseeker Holidays again.
Obviously I am not the only disappointed customer of this organisation.

I think this company has an appalling business model. I tried to book a getaway, couldn't get on the website as I was not 'financial'. Joined online to see availability, still could not get online. I assumed the payment did not go through, so joined again, still unable to get on website as not 'financial'. I gave up, didn't get away. When I phoned, found out server has been out since June, so everyone who tried to access the website must have had to rejoin as well, no members informed of this and yes, we were already financial....since Sept. Refunding me was so difficult, they made it really hard. I had to email bank statements, as their server didn't work. THEN they told me they only refund 2 people per day so I had to wait for one week. THESE PEOPLE ARE SUSS!!!!Avoid at all costs.

Very disappointed about so called special deals and vouchers, can book myself cheaper than what is offered by sun seeker !! Still cannot get membership number because internet server is down for the past 12 weeks so you have to do all bookings over phone.. and don't get anywhere with the sirly attitudes of staff.. would never ever deal with them again!!! Just want my $99 so called seniors membership returned ... Fat chance!!!!
