Had a man call me saying that he was from an Accident Investigation Department. I asked him what scam was he going to try and sell me, and he hung up. I have a private, unlisted number.

Same as the others, they asked if a "person" had an accident. When I pushed them to tell me who this accident prone "person" was they hang up. 8/11/2016 about 2:49PM

It has happened to me twice this week, total scam, go to YouTube to see the exact "Accident"scam thing.They want all kinds of details, names, numbers etc in regard to your "recent accident" to give you some compo, if you are bored have some fun with them, they don't know "Arthur from Martha" about Australia or word play and local puns as they are calling from India or some other stinking rat hole nearby , so essentially you can tell them your name is Humphrey B Bear from Footy Show Ave and they believe it, had them asking questions and giving them fictitious names and details for 15 minutes before I had to get back to work.

Got the same call a short while ago. When he said he was from accident investigations, I asked what he wanted. He then asked if I was the person that had been involved in an accident. I gave him a piece of my mind and hung up

got the same call and I hung up as soon as he claimed I had a car accident in the last year, which i didn't.

Have had same call with 028006457 on a Public Holiday? Assuming area code is 02 it still has not enough digits. They hung up as soon as I answered.

My caller ID displays this strange number 028006457 - weird because it is missing a digit.

Anyway, some woman (foreign voice) claiming to be from some 'Accident Investigaiton Department' saying that we'd had an accident in the last two years - was I the right person to speak to.

Sounds like a scam to me..!
