Caller: "Telstra NBN" supposedly Called up and was very polite, she said she was calling from Telstra Business about NBN order. She asked to confirm we are not connected to the NBN, I said yes we are connected but I don't think she understood and proceeded to ask if I'm the business owner or authorised to make decisions. I said I was authorised and she informed that a representative or something will be in our area next week (SA metropolitan) and they will come to discuss. She knew our store, address and number.
I asked if they are coming to check about our existing NBN she yes they will and asked again to confirm that we are not on the NBN, again I said we were and signed up a few weeks ago but apparently I'm still getting someone coming for a visit... I don't really mind it's our very slow and quiet season at the moment and I'm a bit bored and I guess if they are here wasting their time then they aren't terrorising someone else with whatever scam they are plotting... maybe...

After putting an ad on gumtree I received an sms reply from this number asking for 'condition of goods". They asked that I reply to an email (fk0230@gmail) address where they are phishing for Bank details......SCAMMERS! When I ring the number it is disconnected.

Said they were from Green Australia offering solar panels with govt. rebate for small businesses. Offered to send someone out named Sonny at 4pm to explain. I said I wasn't interested at this time but to give me a number to contact if I was. As soon as he read me the number to contact Sonny, I knew it was dodgy. (07) 6032 5653. Called that number and the number he contacted me on back and both numbers said they are disconnected.

Caller: (02) 2222 2222 Scammer pretending to be from Telstra calling to arrange an appointment to discuss our NBN, wanted to set up appointment. They knew our business name, but had an incorrect address, we've only ever had one address. They want to call before they come to the appointment. I told them if we were interested then we would contact our telstra business centre directly. They knew a lot of telstra terms but I already had someone call from an overseas number with the same thing a few weeks ago, both callers were Indian.

She mucked around on the computer then said "AMB2748" All Telstra employees are like D178653. The D are lower level employees.
