These bastards apparently pay phone companies on the sly to give them the number, enough people apparently just 'accept' the premium service that they can justify the cost of the bribes. Optus and Vodaphone are apparently 'unable' to do anything about it.

Oh and I did research on the company with the number (Faux company with account based in Nigeria)

It’s a scam. Some how they have come up on my phone bill each month so it looks like the provider is charging me $4.99 a month but they’re not. Ring provider and tell them. Don’t respond to them whatever you do.

This is a sophisticated phone hack. It masquerades as Slider Games and Spontaneous Minds but it infiltrates your phone account and is unstoppable without contacting your provider. Blocking the number DOES NOT STOP IT. If you see the number in your history, alert your provider. Mine was billed for 12 months @ $5 a text. Unsolicited!!!

I havent received any texts from the number at all but i've been billed for them and the number 19940004 is on my bill with times that I texted them!!!. Vodafone said the only way is to block the number and they will block the premium service.GRRRRRRRR.

Received the SMS for months, never noticed that I'm being charged $4.99/m extra for it. Called 1800 936 380 and I'm hoping it will stop.
If you try to block it, it won't make a difference. If you request Vodafone to block it (or barr it), you'll lose you international roaiming/calling option, which I use!!!

I got the same thing. 3 in a row and Vodafone just kicks the ball around to avoid responsibility. The best solution is probably to call the service provider and put a bar on future premium SMSs. If I get it again then it would definitely be Vodafone's problem.

I emailed them using the contact section on their website to complain...received an email back saying that I need to send them my mobile number to process my request. Weird that their company is based in London and the email is from someone in Germany.
So dodgy, did not respond and am hoping I don't get any more charges - already had 3 so far!

I have been receiving text messages from these cnts for the past 12 months or so. Message always reads same or similar, "Your Slider Games access link: http://slidergames.mobi/?I=NjFjdGJxa3lq. Reply stop to 19940004 to quit. Spontaneous Minds Ltd. Help 1800_936380" I suspect they're phishing; I've reported to Scamwatch every time I've received a message (nothing appears to have been done, however). Anyone who does receive calls or text messages from these a**holes, I suggest you ignore and delete immediately, and block 'em if they call you; and DON'T EVER RESPOND TO EITHER NUMBER.
I googled Spontaneous Minds Ltd - the real(?) company is involved in the digital services industry and is based in London, (nothing to do with Slider Games as far as I can see), and is ticked as a safe search company, so I doubt the Spontaneous Minds reported here is anything to do with them.

I noticed this number coming up on my phone bill as a $4.99 premium SMS every month. Called the number on the bill 1800 936 380) and it directed me to an automated phone line to cancel the premium SMS service. Either I have just cancelled this ongoing charge, or I've just opened myself up to another charge.

I was charged two times by this devious scam number for sending me two texts. No idea how did they get my number at the first place. Report to my phone carrier company and asked them to blocked this 'content service', but still have to pay for the scam sms that these f...ers' sent me before.

you need to reply STOP to text number, otherwise they will continue to charge you $5 for every text they send you - like once a month. Report it to your mobile provider and to fair trading

Had (another) SMS from these prix today, providing an "access link" and an option to reply "Stop to 19940004 to quit or Help 1800 936 380. Checked both numbers; 1800 936 380 doesn't come up on Reverse (yet) but 19940004 does. Googled Spontaneous Minds Ltd - there is such an organisation based in London but it's what looks like a legitimate company involved with digital marketing. Nothing to do with gaming. Suspect this SMS is a scam involving phishing or malware - just delete any texts/emails, and don't reply to the bastards to confirm that you are for real or worse.
