scammer claiming to be from Telstra and that there is a problem with my internet security. I have now had approximately 6 calls over 4 or 5 days, each time they have been told by me that I do not have an internet connection so can't have an internet security problem. Yet they still persist.

Constant everyday twice a day

Is there anyway that our telephone network can put a block on the specific number of these scammers. I realise that in all probability they will only create another new number and start their scamming all over again. If the public persist in lodging complaints about the scammers and if their phone number(s) can be blocked surely they will give up. Perhaps that is a naive thought on my part as I believe they will find some other way to scam innocent Australians of their money. I would like to put them on the next flight to Pluto - by the time they reach that destination and should they find a way to return back to earth they would be too old to bother anybody. Well nice dream.

Eventually I told them I was using Android on a tablet. Next thing is engaged tone!! All you can do is keep them on the line long enough to waste their time

Thick Indian accent claiming to be "Jenny". Husband swore and hung up.
Previous comments say the call is re internet connection. Sick of this rubbish. They won't be getting my details but obviously they do con some people or they wouldn't keep calling.

called me to say that my internet will be suspended in 2 hours due to non payment, i ended the call as all payments are up to date - don't tell them anything and end call as soon as you can !
