These are relentless scammers who have crawled out yet again, using another series of numbers. In the last few days I've had attempted calls from (03) 9970 9678, 9672, 9671 and now 9675, and have reported it to Scamwatch as a fake charity because it appears to be the usual "Charity Prime" lowlifes.
They simply will not give up once they have your number. This has been going on at intervals for about a year. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers so never once answered. I've blocked every range of numbers they use including, now, (03) 9970 ..... But the utter morons still try to call every day. They are a nightmare.
It's best not to, but if you answer one of their calls and they claim to be "Charity Prime" or something similar, please submit a report to Scamwatch if you can. They need to be stopped.

Scammer

I received a call from this number which is very close to previous unsolicited calls to my landline. As a previous report mentioned the scam calls change the last one or two digits of their phone number and persist. No message is ever recorded. I never answer a call from an unrecognised number and if no message is recorded to indicate the call is of a legitimate nature, I don’t phone back the unknown number. If every one did the same surely this kind of random intrusion would cease?

Similar to other comments, a series of numbers with the prefix 03-9970 xxxx have been trying to call my number. Of course they dont bother to leave a message. It could well be a nuisance call (or series of nuisance calls) or scam / fraud potentially. I block these numbers and dont bother to find out exactly especially if they cant bother to leave a message

If you’re not on my contact list and can’t be bothered to leave me a message then call again with different last 2 digits then you are a scammer and now another blocked number 😡😡
